Just a note to let others know what a stand up guy Jim is, I had worked with him on a piece for his Chinook and there came up a question about the Spyderco Gunting, well I've not seen one in person and the next thing I know, Jim sends his out for me to take a look see. No rush he says, as he is a knife knutt and enjoys sharing information.

That Gunting is quite a knife, rugged and made with a specific purpose. The blade has a very useable blade shape and the top pointy thingy would definitely get someones attention when applied!!
The top lock is also unusal and works very well. Not my style of knife but I can sure appreciate the well made engineering that went into it!
