I ordered a Wetterlings SAW13H from knifecenter a little over a month ago. They had backordered their Wetterlings, and it was taking some time getting the new shipment (seems like everyone was experiencing this). I called them explaining that I was hoping to get the axe before a June camping triP (which I had to subsequently cancel for unrelated reasons). They called their distributor and got back to me within an hour explaining that the shipment was en route from Sweden and they expected to be able to get it to me before my trip.
They gave me weekly progress reports on the order status and called me when it was getting shipped (came the next day, eventhough I had asked for standard UPS shipping). And eventhough prices had gone up on these axes, they kept me locked in at the lower price.
