I live in canada, and I bought a sprint run domino from knife center, and the shipping time was acceptable. However I had to pay customs which was 40 bucks. I have never paid this fee before. I'm not sure if I was lucky with the other knives I've bought from the states.
 
I have had good luck for the most part. my last experience is mixed. Shipping was fast but the knife arrived with a defect. I notified them and they said they would send me a return label and a replacement knife. Nothing after a week so I sent them a note. They are sending another label but won't replace the knife until they receive it. No problem with that but it has been a few days and no label yet.
 
I have had them ship knives here to Australia a couple of times, with no issues. Not from their end, anyway. Customs is another matter, but I would deal again with KnifeCenter in a heartbeat.
 
I bought a ontario rat model 2 about a week ago and received it two days after I purchased it and this was with the $2.99 shipping.
 
I've used knife center many years now and many times. My only complaints would be they are rarely the cheapest of the good dealers.

I guess it depends where you live. They always ship fast to me.

I have to say I am amazed so many had bad experiences. I've had nothing but professional and upright experiences myself over many many orders and over many years.
 
I've bought many knives from knife center and they only made one small mistake in shipping. That doesn't make them bad,just human.

Sounds like a problem unrelated to the store itself, rather government policies and taxes. You might have been lucky on previous occasions.
 
KnifeCenter has been very good to me. Many orders over several years. Preorders do take a while and their prices are not the best but not the worst either. Request for order cancellations have been dealt with promptly. Shipping has been within a day of the order. From Virginia to California USPS has been much faster than UPS.
 
I've ordered from Knife Center many times and continue to do so. Never had an issue. I ask them to inspect my purchases before shipping and they even supply me with the inspectors name.
 
I ordered a 6 in aluminum Cold steel Ti Lite for $54 (usually $90) plus shipping. I ordered it 3 days ago and it arrived today.

Meh. You will find these threads about just about every dealer on the web if you care to look. I have dealt with KC, BHQ, HOB and never had an issue. Sometimes stuff happens when specially low prices are offered. Get the good price sometimes means you pay with your time.
