KnifeCenter Para 3 / CPM Cru-Wear

Mine showed up today. Excellent fit and finish, drops closed and sharp as a laser. Nice companion to its larger sibling.

Fit and finish is good. A decent amount of lock stick, but is smoothing out. Flick's and drops free no problem after a couple drops of nano-oil.

My only nitpick and is minor at best. But the pm2 is "blacker". I think I'll take it apart and rub the scales down with Flitz or something.

Got mine Thursday. 1 was a little lock sticky but the other is great. Haven't really cut anything except paper, but they're sharp.

I don't have the PM2 anymore but, if I remember, the finishes are different. The Para 3 feels like a flat or matte where the PM2 was polished maybe?

My Cru-Wear Manix2 is one of the sharpest blades that I own. Such an awesome steel.
I agree I purchased the Manix Cru Wear as well and was able to put a very nice and slice edge on it. It became my main work and resharpen knife. Holds the edge well. Great steel just need to keep it oiled because if you do make it a work knife your sweat will rust it. Just wipe as needed.

Absolutely love this knife, it’s a keeper so deep carry clip ordered.

Now if I could just get the damn Rex 45 Military!

The correct clip to get is the Lynch Northwest Spyderco Para 3 Ti Pocket Clip (Sandwashed). $18 each, cost less and made for the para3. Not just a clip that can work for this model, it’s specifically made for it.

The right clip for me was the deeper MXG Para 3 version. I have a Lynch on my PM2 and love it but for the Para 3 it had to be an MXG.

I have the MXG clips also. On the para3, the MXG clip covers part of the lanyard hole and cost $23 each. Loose, loose situation. If you get to Las Vegas, buy a $18 Lynch and I will trade you a $23 MXG for it.

There are two different MXG deep clips for the Para 3, I got the one pictured here that carries a bit deeper than the one you showed. Not worried about the lanyard hole on this particular knife.
