Hey guys, new to the forum, but i did a search and saw a thread about them, but nobody had replied to the poster. But I am about to buy a Leatherman Wave + Monarch 300 from KnifeCo on Amazon, for $47, very cheap compared to others. So I'm wondering should I go ahead, are they good, or should I just go with the $60 set? They have quite good feedback but are they trust worthy? Any help at all would be appreciated.

Welcome to BF Neil. I've never heard of KnifeCo personally. If you have any doubts, trust your gut would be my advice. There are lots of good deals to be had on ebay too. I picked up a Leatherman Supertool 300 for a great price some months back.
I've been ripped off on Amazon before, ended up not receiving my stuff and had to play phone tag with people for up to 4 weeks. I called my bank and they took care of it. :)

The listing you linked us to says that the item is "Sold by KnifeCo and Fulfilled by Amazon."

Let me quote further:
"Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a service we offer sellers that lets them store their products in Amazon's own warehouses, and we directly pack, ship, and provide customer service for these items. Something we hope you'll especially enjoy: FBA items qualify for FREE Super Saver Shipping and Amazon Prime..."

So, the item is already physically in stock at Amazon. You don't need to trust KnifeCo as long as you trust Amazon to ship it to you.

Thanks everyone for replying, and thanks for the welcome. I live in Ireland but will be in Orlando in July for 2 weeks, so I'll order a few days before I go and get it delivered to the hotel. The same tool is 100 euro in Dublin and for both the tool and torch is about 35 eur from KnifeCo. So I'll give it a shot, and let you know how I get on in July.
Regards, Neil.
