I'm inspired...to figure out which knife to put this shield in :) Live long and prosper:p

Kerry, that shield looks like something off a '57 Chrysler; something with "the Forward Look"!
Think you could fit it as well as those shields fit into the ebony handles up above?? I was just gawping at the incredible fit of those things. . .in a production knife!!! More inspiration, huh??

As Tony would say, those shields fit in there like boots on a rooster!

lookie what I found. It's hard to find a pattern that Tony hasn't made.

Holy Mackerel! Cool!
I am beginning to think you are right, Kerry.
I'll have to dig deep!

I found the Bose pattern list, on the Bose website!! Here's one that may be a new "inspiration!!

Wow. That is a beauty. What does the base "Bolster" look like from the bottom? Just flat polished nickel-silver? Is it oval? I'd like to see a bottom view.

That is a beauty for sure. What is that pattern called?

That would be an amazing knife in PEARL!! Anyone seen one? Or HAVE one??

Charlie, Kerry and Tony,

What a great thread. I especially like that last pattern Charlie just posted, but you guys made me get out some of my old stuff and start looking at them again with even more appreciation that I had before.

I like it! Somewhat of a swayback pattern....Swayback Farmers Jack

It's been a while since someone wanted to view my butt!!:D

JK, JK;);)!

It is kind of a neat shape (the knife that is! drum/cymbal!) The knife itself has a "rounded" cross section, Hal, fills your palm.
