There are quite a few Chesapeake Knife and Tool stores in the Baltimore/DC area. They're not great (high prices) but, I'll admit, they're better than nothing.
You guys should look into A.M.H. Cutlery. I found them accidentally at a local gun/knife show. I think it's a father/son operation that's been around for a long time. They've got lots of knives by Spyderco, Benchmade, Cold Steel, etc. The "store" is in Linthicum (about 5 miles south of Baltimore) in a small industrial park. The store is more like a small, dark room with lots of knives. They keep almost all of their stuff in cases that can easily be taken to the local gun/knife shows. I think they do alot of business at these shows. For those of you that were at the December knife show in Timonium, they were the ones with the huge seletion of production knives in the corner. There was always a big crowd around their tables. This is probably because their stuff was so much cheaper than all of the custom stuff there and, for most non-collectors (ie. the general public), a production knife is fine. Suprisingly, his prices are excellent (definitely internet competitive)! Here's his info:

P.S. No, I don't work for them.
