Knifesupply.com customer service update

I asked about knifesupply some time ago and got several good responses so I placed an order. Things were not smooth so I placed several more to give shawn the benefit of the doubt. I had three consecutive bad experiences and posted this response when a fellow member asked about experiences with knife supply.

(I asked the same question a while ago (week or two) and got lots of positive answers. I made three separate orders from him. I called EVERY time to see if the knives were in stock. EVERY time he has told me a ship dat that has not happened, not even close. This is copied from an email he sent me (he has not responded to 4 emails between the 3 orders) "Thanks for your email> The knife will arrive today and I'll ship it out" That knife didn't ship for three days later. That wouldn't have been a problem had he just been strait with me when I asked about it in the next email. I have had three orders to try to give him the benefit of the doubt but the HORRIBLE customer service I have received every time has turned me off to ordering from him again. Again, not trying to get flamed, but just posting what has happened to me in the past two weeks.)

I wanted to update my post. After seeing all the good responses that were again given to knifesupply and Shawn I decided to try again. I know that a small business can have its ups and downs and since all three of my orders were within a ten day period, maybe I just had bad timing or caught Shawn on an "off" week. Anyway, I have since placed two more orders, both times I have received fast email confirmations, as well as responses to weather items are in stock and tracking numbers as soon as my orders had shipped. I want to say that I think I probably had bad timing before and I'm glad I gave it another chance. I have now had two very good ordering experiences. Just wanted to post this so anything I have said earlier regarding not being happy with knifesupply's customer service could be put into perspective.

Shawn just covered an order for two fine knives and expedited the order, when I told him one was a gift I needed by the end of next week. From what I've seen, his prices are very good and he gets them out in a couple of days. In fact, the Fallkniven NL3 Njord and Canal Street Cutlery D'Alton Holder Bowie I ordered from Wedensday, will arrive Monday.
 
I've ordered from them several times this year and all transactions went smooth. Maybe just lucky, but I would use them again.
 
I placed an order with Knifesupply on 7/25/08 and received it on 8/2/08. No problems and a great price. I couldn't be happier.
 
The whole point of my post was to say that I gave it another chance, two more in fact, and that my last two purchases went well.
