Okay dudes. Read the numerous posts on the SOG vs Kershaw vs Spyderco thread I did last night. Now it is time to shop your responses.

Again...I am a newbie to higher end knives and my budget is $70 or less. Aside from my local Academy Sports, MidwayUSA.com or WalMart, I am limited in what I have seen. My local large gun store is not competitive on the knives you recommended.

I saw references to KnifeSupply.com and checked out their site. Good prices compared to local finds. I can not tell if items are "in stock" which is a major pet peeve of mine. If it ain't in stock...dang it, tell me cause I ain't buyin' it. And worse...don't tell me it is "in stock" and get me to buy now and then find out the item is on back order :barf::barf:!! Some of you know what I mean.

Anyone shop knifesupply.com and buy items? If I do can I expect fast/fair service and will it tell me if items are in stock before I click the purchase button?

I know I know...DA question...but better safe than sorry. Trust me....I learned the hard way on some online firearm accessory purchases I made and then had to fight to resolve due to poor ethical online business practices. Never again...I do my research, ask, listen and learn.

So let me know if you have a minute to add a post. Thanks!!!

I ordered some Entrek knives from them last fall. I e-mailed first asking if the knives I wanted were in stock. I received a reply about 4 days later confirming they had them in stock and I ordered on line. Received the knives about 10 days later here in Iraq. Was overall pretty happy with the transaction.

I've ordered four knives from them (3 Entrek and a dive knife - don't remember which one since It was for my daughter-in-law). All three shipments came in resonable time, never any "out-of-stock" situations, and at reasonable prices. No drama, no promises not kept. I've done business with them three times and would do so again.
