anyone ordered from knifesupply.com?

wanting to order a knife from there but am not familiar with them.

thanks...

Order from them quite a bit. I have never had a problem. Knifeworks.com is probably my #1 though. I think I just like the website a little better for whatever reason.

Not trying to flame them, but I placed an order, and 4 days later my "Priority Mail" shipment hadnt arrived from 2 states away...called their service dept and was ASSURED that my purchase would be in stock that day and ship.

Later that day I get an email asking if I want to wait or pick another model, as my order was still on back order.

Had I been notified that the product was on back order originally, no problem, I like to be informed.

To get no info, no shipment, call and ask directly about my mis-order, then be misled...sorry, thats horrible service.

I'll pay more for people who have the common sense to either serve their customer, or offer some customer service incentive for me to give them a 2nd chance.

In my opinion, their follow-up, service, and attempt to retain customers is very juvenile at best...I will deal with the business savvy.

Ordered from them last week, they shipped in 3 biz days, great customer service. Prices better than anywhere Ive seen.

I would email them to check stock before ordering as there site is not accurate always.

I have bought from Knifesupply twice. I have called first both times and talked with Shawn to establish a rapport. For what it's worth, he seems like a really honest person.(5x5) Maybe a little distracted, but I doubt he intentionally misled you.

However, bad service IS bad service, whatever the reason, so I totally get where you're coming from.

Good Idea. You can also call between 3-PM and 10-PM Eastern Standard.

I asked the same question a while ago (week or two) and got lots of positive answers. I made three separate orders from him. I called EVERY time to see if the knives were in stock. EVERY time he has told me a ship dat that has not happened, not even close. This is copied from an email he sent me (he has not responded to 4 emails between the 3 orders) "Thanks for your email> The knife will arrive today and I'll ship it out" That knife didn't ship for three days later. That wouldn't have been a problem had he just been strait with me when I asked about it in the next email. I have had three orders to try to give him the benefit of the doubt but the HORRIBLE customer service I have received every time has turned me off to ordering from him again. Again, not trying to get flamed, but just posting what has happened to me in the past two weeks.

did you end up receiving the knifes?

got two orders and the third is (I think) on its way. Like I said, I don't have a problem if things change or dates get pushed back, I know how a small business works. I just don't like it when I can't get any replies to emails and when I call it seems like he doesn't want to answer question about weather my orders have shipped. I did give him three tries and you really can't ask for anything more. I will continue to buy from companies like Knifecenter, Newgraham, Ragweed Forge etc... that I have gotten better customer service from.

Place an order with Botach, then go back to KnifeSupply they will seem like the best guys ever! HAHAHAH. Just kidding.

Congrats, thats an awesome knife, you'll love it. If you don't like the kydex it comes with sharpshooter's leather for the Bravo-1 is excellent. Here is the link if your interested.

I'm glad your first order with Shawn worked out so well. The leather sheath can also take one of the small knives like the micro.
