It always sucks to lose a knife. It really sucks to lose your new favorite knife.
 
Good Morning fellas. Last night I finished up, what I think is my best knife yet. It is going to the UK so My first sale outside the US also. I am pretty happy about it :)
Bobby, luck sent your way! Maybe if you offer a reward and tell the manager about it. Did you check your car ? Careful feeling around under the seats! I have a feeling that it is shaaaaaaarp! Good luck !

I talked to Mall security. Retraced all of my steps. It had to have been one of the few people left in the Cinema Center. I talked to the manager again around lunch, politely thanked her for helping me out, and asked that she have a word with her night crew to see if perhaps one of them decided to take it home.

I'm not crushed by the fact that I lost this awesome piece of art. I'm sad I lost something that really meant a lot to me. I'm saddened that it wasn't properly handled (put in lost and found/reported). And If it turns out that someone pocketed it and never returned it, I'll just be that much more of a believer that good people are a dying breed.
 
Sorry for the conformation but good peeps are a dying breed.

That's a bummer on several levels. Good luck - I hope it turns up. There is good karma floating around still... the return of our lost dog didn't burn it all up.

It is starting to warm up a bit in Cali. I was hoping for our once a decade snow fall in the valley but noooooooooooooo.
Today's menu consists of tiny tantos. Also waiting for the plumber. The main line to the cities main line is plugged up. So, it is like every sink and toilet is plugged at the same time. :rolleyes::thumbdn:

The fur does turn white for the winter season! :D

Best wishes with the line! I have a septic tank and we pour some beneficial bacteria down the drain sometimes... I forget the brand but it is labeled as a drain cleaner.


I'm just warming up for a second and will be back out for more heat treat! 5 more minutes until quench round two... kiridashi run!

Afternoon, all!

started snowing again. Depressing. :(

No word from the Theater. I think it's gone. I hope whoever pocketed it cut themselves deep. or, if I somehow, someway lost it in the car, I find it so I can shut up and move on >_>

Work's been a bear lately. I'm excited for the new year; hoping it slows down and I can take some PTO days and play with knives. Finished the second kitchen knife. Just gotta sharpen it up and get some light sandpaper to finish the handles by hand. I'm always missing something in the shop!
