Meh, long story. Tldr; gravity and loose sheath won out and i think a theater worker is +1 dfk.
 
can anybody point me in the right direction for a good edc knife? im looking for a solid quality half serrated tanto preferably assisted open but im open to any and all comments and suggestions thanks in advance guys

Give a pocket fixed blade a try. Folders are nice but carry a nice ...cough DFK pocket fighter cough cough...pocket size fixed blade for a week and you will be hooked like .....well ...like we are. lol .

Three more days then I'm go on vacation!!!:D

So how's everyone? Any plans for the holidays!
 
Wish me luck guys, I'm headed to the mall to start and finish my christmas shopping. I don't usually do well when surrounded by large groups of stupid people, so I just might punch some idiot....

Not taking a DFK today though, carrying a DanCo blade + Skyline. But I am making sure to wear a pro 2nd amendment t-shirt and already have my dirty look dialed in to scare off the stroller pushing, bargain hunting, starbucks drinking, overly indebted shoppers that might get in my way! Ugh, I hate the holidays.

The wife goes on her 3 week christmas break starting Monday, and the kid will be off for a week. Must find something to do!!!

Snow.. boarding... leaving a day after xmas, will be gone til first weekend in Jan.

I second the Kershaw suggestion. The Random Leek (1660TGRYST) has an S30V half serrated tanto blade, assisted open, and comfortable slim handle. Carries very easily (and there are several aftermarket deep carry clips available, if you prefer) - and made pretty well, especially for the price.

Hi! I like Emerson for partially serrated Tantos, they look great.

Edit - that Leek looks killer as well, I have handled a few of that general design and you can't go wrong with one

Nice!!! We are staying busy here with a combo of shopping and grinding! I'm doing more grinding today... kiridashis.

Well I managed to get in and out of the mall in just two hours. Not to bad for going in with no idea on what to get.

Sittin and having a cigar now. These things sure are mild, I've had a few of them now and have finally figured out that I don't think I will buy them again. Not bad, but not really that good either. Value was good, but honestly they taste like a $1.00 cigar to me. Too high of humidity and they get an acidic taste, but I left one in a tube for a day and it was better, just barely. I think I'll try something in a maduro wrapper next.
