Still stuck at work. Bought the wife flowers this morning. But no time for a nice dinner out or anything. I am off work tomorrow though, so we'll do something fun then.

I do not understand, I followed the advice of flatbackcapo.
I've gone hunting wild women without a shotgun, only carrying a knife.

I have a tray of finished knife parts (friction folder blades and handles) and a bunch that are ground and ready to sharpen. :D Yesterday was nuts!
 
Its seven thirty am and two pidgeons have been cooing outside my hotel window since about 5. I'm conflicted; do i wage war or slip into quiet and comfortable insanity.

Carbide is next on a bunch of them. I might take a half day off, it was a busy weekend! Then again I'm excited to see these done. :D

No snow here, but I wake to a very playful pup bouncing around on my bed and the back of my head. Any movement apparently meant you were playing with him. Not fun when trying to sleep in a little with the wife 0_o

Headed off to the flea market today. Gonna find something old and cool.

Ehh, nothing really cool came home with me from the flea market today. There were several old cameras I wanted to buy, but they were asking market price and didn't know a thing about them. If someone knows exactly what they are selling and have tested it, I would gladly pay market price, but from a junk seller who thinks because the rusted, ratty folding camera was made in 1910 it has to be worth at least 100 bucks, is crazy. I did pass on a cool old rangefinder in fantastic shape simply because it was a consumer model and not something I really want. I did score two 16 packs of new AA Duracell batteries for $14 though, my speed lights eat batteries during a shoot.

At my mother in laws house for dinner tonight, chile rellenos made from scratch! One of my favorites!

Bonus! My resident couch bum is out of town for the weekend, so the house will be empty tonight! Got a six pack, got a fresh bottle of rum, some coke and lime, gonna out some music on and make it a good night :cool:

In recent days have complicated my life ....
The problem is to find a good woman (28 years old, good body, nice and is a friend for many years), but is married.
To me that is forbidden ground.
A greeting and I go "hunt wild women" to the gym.

Chile Relleno... that's a good one and fun to make... I learned that one back in the day making staff meals at a kitchen I ran. We'd go all out!

The flea market here is a lot of entertainment, starts this summer. I used to sell a lot of cabs I cut and jewelry at ours, our area is known for that sort of thing. Every week there is a guitar I can't live without, lol!

Kevin, great talking to you! We were talking about some early influences... check "Custom Knifemaking" by Tim McCreight. Page 30 has 3 knives by Shiva Ki which were and still are huge influences for me... Daniel, Shiva KI's Knives are BA! Why does he hate rope so much?! ( Think The Jerk, " He hates cans! Stay away from the cans!" lol) I love the lines of his Fightin' Bowie and of course the Spirit... I am going to go practice Ninja walking up a pole now.:D
Kermmack, The best time I had with woman is when I decided and told any woman I dated that the last thing in the world I wanted was a girlfriend. STAY AWAY FROM THE MARRIED ONE!!!!
