Sup gang. Feelin' good, back in Keto (miserable transition weekend). Think I'm gonna be in the shop for a bit tonight. Oddly enough, was approached about a few orders. Don't people know I'm a computer guy? XD

Daniel wassup? Speakin of PC; you still got the computer blues? I found a small formfactor thinkcenter. It boots into Windows 7. Seems to run fine. Reach out to be bro.

This new HP has a way better keyboard than the last, so nice! Cleanable keys I think...

Afternoon fellas.

Just got word from the wife that she has been offered a position as baker at Boudin! She is super excited about it and I'm proud of her too. She worked long and hard to get her 3 culinary degrees all at the same time, and now to finally be in a real kitchen. She currently does institutional cooking at a child development center, which is entirely different than restaurant cooking, having to follow state guidelines for nutritional needs of each meal, weighing and recording each ingredient in each recipe, having special needs for some kids like allergies, religion, vegan, etc. Baking is where her heart is and now she gets to do it!

So stoked for her! Plus fresh sour dough bread every day is not a bad perk either!

Congratulations, my Maggie is a baker as well. It's not an easy job; takes a lot of skill and technique. And the hours aren't always great, but oh boy the first time she brought home a real croissant she made, I was sold.

Very nice... sometimes they can get you good! I had the edge of one grind a big slice into my rh index finger last week and it still hurts.

I was a Baker for about a year in a high production/"sole authorship" high end kitchen... it was a very fun job. Hard as heck but I learned a lot! It was a lot like knifemaking. I burnt through 100# of flour a day many days. It took me a few years to get that job...

I was all over the place today with pics and more... even set the lock and detent on a framelock. The mornng was spent sanding blades flat post heat treat... afternoon on pics and more shop time. I need a load of belts from Pops in a big way then look out for a lot... much is prepped, ht'd and in need of grinding! :D
