Yep, this is her passion! She actually has an arts and science degree in baking/pastries and an arts degree in culinary. I used to love when she would bring her assignments home from school, plain croissants are my favorite! She even made me a pecan pie from scratch last year for my birthday, that's my favorite pie. She does cakes on the side for fun money, has for several years now.

Bobby, I know exactly how that feels , but my reflexes were not as quick as yours. I was pushing too hard on the top stretch , using it like a slack belt,like a dummy. It could have been way worse! I have done a few stupid things with that grinder that I have been extremely fortunate to have not injured myself much worse than I did. I am very glad to hear that you got away unscathed !
Xander, Tell your lady congratulations from me. That is awesome !

Mornin' all! Feelin especially grindy today. I need to get bevels done on two damascus blades and a D2. That's my goal tonight.

Just looked out the window; looks like a blizzard. Unreal. When will Winter end? Stupid Starks...

I'm still getting caught up around here with mailing and random projects. Time for some new belts!
 
Good afternoon ladies and others.
Spending in a bar? My economy is finally well, no money for beers.
The only alcohol I drank these months is the one I use at work to clean the optical fiber.
30 cl to give me all year.
My projects for this year are accomplished, will dispose of 25 vacation days this year.
15 days are intended to visit Normandy, I have a background of almost 1000 euros for it.
What plans do you have for this year?
A greeting and a sharp day and Daniel have to work hard.
 
Hey Kermmak! Plans for this year? Maybe to go on a cruise with the wife. Will have to see what the finances are looking like after taxes. Headed to France must be nice!

Got rain and clouds in today. Thankfully it isn't very cold.

My productive day is just an hour ago. I try to work only 40 hours a week.
France is nice, but has a very significant problem. It is full of French ....
I am trying to sharpen a Opinel n12, which is impossible.
 
Good morning ! OH NO it is raining!!!!! What are we to doooooooo ? My dogs won't even go out of the house if it is raining. I laugh to think of what they would do if I magically transported them to Bobby's neck of the woods!
Daniel, if you make me that Tikat, I will change my name to Kevin Tikat Tupper! :D
 
The snow got so high out in my backyard that it came up over Tyrions back. I have no idea how he did his day to day business...
 
Thank Liam! She was nervous about giving her two weeks notice today because her current boss is a bipolar bitch, to put it lightly. But I wrote out a resignation letter for her and told her that she didn't have to explain anything and because she is currently union there really can't be any retribution by her boss. Her boss was happy for her, today, but I told her that often times bosses will put you under tighter scrutiny once you give notice. Not like she does anything to deserve it, but her boss is just that kind of person.

Either way, she is super excited about it!
