Rev, watch out for that loud mouth from Philthy-delphia! He is a bit shifty! Or just throw a hipster in front of him to distract him, lol. (I Know he's gonna read this:D) He loves hipsters!

Chow time at the pet store, for me too. Nothing great today, just cold cuts and veggies.

He's a piece of work, had a great time walking the show and he showed me the folder...Dang! It's great.

Yeah, piece of work... not sure why or how he scored one, never shows up anymore.. pow.. but steals knives from "us". :(

Haha, I'm sure it's all good. Daniel works like a beast; scary he can't keep up with demand!

Mornin' all. Hopefully this is good omens. We were getting musings of 10-14" of snow. We got maybe 10-14 snowflakes. I am stoked! Still in jeans and sneakers for work though. Woo!

Truck drove like a dream today. Happy I made the switch.

I am so stoked to get some more DFK in the mail. It's like Christmas but better!

How's everyone today?

today... how are "we"... my cirvumvallate papillae are enlarged as HELL.. makes swallowing a bitch.. looks like my mouth is dying.. sinus infection is working me over like a dirty whore... yesterday was last day for meds.. my stomache is thankful, as the last 10days have been mostly a bitch. so I'm doing FINE! L:D lol

It's sad, when you are sick with so many different things for months, when you even feel the slightest relief, it's like a party for health! Hope I'm on the mends for real.. March is MY month gdamnit. =_=

Up since 4:45am due to little guy... can't wait til he f'ing sleeps solidly like my older one.. who is still asleep...

Hope to do a knife throwing video... various knives.. from the TBOK (hard as hell to stick) to a pig sticker from Nathan the Machinist.. maybe throw a SAK for fun too.. and some old POS folders.. :)

If only time were my friend.. any spare time outside of work and sleep is kiddo driven still..

so we got some east coast foolz in here.. and me, X, fbc are westies... DFK in CO... where else are you guys from??

Sounds nice on the truck Farchyld! I'm driving the T100 lately and it is one of my favorite vehicles ever. This summer I want to get the 62' going!

Sloth357 you can stick the TiBOK? Dang! That's serious! I tried throwing knives and have always had some... I'm hit and miss. :D

Morning. Sloth, you need to whoop that Immune system of yours into shape! Get better FAST. Try a small lanyard and a no spin throw for the TiBok, I think that could work. I used to throw knives and hawk fairly regularly, been a while though. Sharpened bike spokes are great no-spin trainers.

Daniel, as much of a 'merican truck guy that I am, those yotas are tough as hell and almost never die!

Off work today, it's ugly out but I'm gonna make the most of it.

Cheers dooods. You too Rofl. :D

Finally trying out my new flash triggers, doing a little playing around with a 3 light setup, might throw in a couple more to get the extra layers I'm looking for.

I really need one more nikon speed light to keep things even in color and able to adjust it evenly to match the rest.

Good morning y'all ! I am back on my normal time frame . Up at the crack of noon, haha. I had to get up early to help my Step Dad prep his house for paint (interior). That man did a LOT for me when I was a just a weeee little FBC ,so the very least I can do is help him paint his house. He is the one who taught me how to open a Buck 110 with one hand . How can you ever repay a man for a gift like that?! lol
Have a good week you DFKers

Cactus v5? I seem to recall those performing really well for the money.

Yep, the Cactus V5. So far they are working flawlessly. Haven't tested out range yet, but in my Faraday cage of a house they work just fine from one corner to the other through walls. These are transceivers, which is nice because if batteries are low in the on camera unit you can use any of them. Price wasn't bad either, just about $100 for the three of them. Base model Pocket Wizards start at that price each. These units also have PC sockets to trigger studio strobes. They even came with batteries. These are non-ttl though, which is exactly what I wanted so I can switch between cameras without issues.

Kevin, get your lazy but out of bed!
