Those are cool Xander!

I'm not sure if I mentioned it but my in-laws developed film professionally and stored film in Hollywood during the 80's and early 90's... interesting stuff for sure! We were talking flashes the other day and it reminded me.


Up early here and going to be busy today! Mailing and more... tantos!

Yesterday I had a big day in the shop and worked until late! If I can pull this project off I'll have pics, lol! :D Ti bolstered friction folder

It's another wet morning here. 50% chance of rain again today, means I have to drive to work again. I really need to get fenders for my bike.

I wanted to go to the ECCKS, but wound up in Vegas instead. Coming home tomorrow though, not really looking forward to it.

Bobby, Congrats on the new ride! Have you done your celebratory doughnuts yet? It sounds like you have plenty of snow and ice to make whipping the a$$ end of that new truck around a blast !
I don't think the weather reports are right. It is up into the 60's and it is not even noon yet. I'll be grinding in a loincloth and Teva's today...... Just kidding , I wouldn't wear Teva's.:D

Just in and wow are my thumbs sore! I only had a half day in the shop today and worked more on the Carbide Edge Friction Folders in Wharncliffe configuration. Extra melted frames and blades! Carved clips... I might do some anodizing on the frames too.

Tomorrow I'm finishing a sheath and hopefully grinding more on the tanto scales. I expect to have a day or two more into them before glue-up then they won't be long after that.

Jade's second Birthday is the 6th so we're having a party for her!

I feel victorious after fixing my hard drive... my Titanium has also been shipped, grinding went killer and I even figured out how to get my old Reason music sequencer program working!

Happy to hear you're making some great progress in the shop. You keep raising your own bar; it's nuts!

I'm back from an eye exam. Pupils fully dilated and I can't focus on a thing. Woot! I did get to finish up some knives though, so that's a plus.

Big party at the in-laws cabin!

My in-laws rented a helium tank as Jade has been asking about balloons a bunch! We asked her what she wanted and she said "birthday cake" which we have no clue how she knows about... what kind we ask, lol strawberry cake she says! fabee cake! (as she says) what else... baloons! We also asked what she wanted to do on her birthday and she said "slide" so that's on too! lol She has only been on the slide a few times but knew exactly what she wanted.

What does Dad do? knife! lol I asked her what she thought of this knife in Blade mag, she says.... Sick Knife! lol! oh man

I hope the eyes are doing good, are you still having swelling?

I wear the Breaking Bad style full face respirator and it saves the eyes a ton, nothing gets to them. When I used to cut stone full time sometimes a shard would get me right n the face...

Yes staying super busy! Sometimes I get a lot of projects going and sometimes I get a lot finished up! It's almost finishing time
 
Sick knife! LOL. That's awesome!

I'm good, routine appointment. Just odd timing. Eye swelling went down which is cool.

Got lots coming in the mail from all over this week. I am stoked!

Ti Keychain Tool with:

Bottle opener, screwdriver/pry tool/scraper, keychain/lanyard hole, 1/4" hex hole, hex driver slot and high quality hex driver in flathead/phillips... Ti and under $50

Yes. I like your first tool a lot, it's very simple, but feels strong, and has the most usable screwdriver I've found in a pocket tool, I have it in D2 and Ti. A different style would be welcome I'm sure.

Daniel yuz right that eye problems are no fun , but pirate eye patches are!
As for the keychain tool , if you shape it like an aardvark ,I'm in!!!!!:D

Thanks for the kind words and the feedback! I tested the screwdriver geometry on everything and that is great to hear.

I'm currently working on a slim/ultralight version of the original in .062" Ti and planning for the new one soon.
