Knifeworks.com's customer service is great, and I've ordered from them many times.
Just one instance where an item wasn't in stock even though the shipping confirmation email indicated everything was complete. At least they didn't charge me for it and not send it. Funny thing is I didn't get an email alerting me to the out of stock item and a suggestion for an alternative...could've got them another sale. I wrote this off as a glitch.
When I ordered again recently from them and explained this rare instance, all i got back was that my present order will ship complete. No apology, no reassurance that if i order from them in the future and an item listed in stock is actually out of stock, i'll be notified by email.
I'm a stickler for good customer service and even though their prices are better, I'd rather pay more and get exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, this will be my last order with knifeworks.com.
