I have made multiple purchases from knifeworks. They are a great dealer.
That sounds like a problem for Spyderco to resolve on their end. If a company fails to include adequate packaging to prevent the product from destroying the container (box in this case), that is something to be looked into by the manufacturer. There is very little chance that knife (I own several) would eat its way out of a USPS Flat Rate box. No everyone cares as much about the box itself though, many people simply throw it out. I know, blasphemous right.I bought a S90V Manix 2XL - they shipped quickly, and everything on their end went well, but their packing was terrible. The Manix 2XL is a heavy knife and it ended up tearing its own box up in transit. I have saw quite a few of those knives, and more than half had the same tears on the bottom of the box.
Good prices, fast shipping, overall decent vendor, but if the box your knives come in is important (especially when the box used by the manufacturer isn't particularly sturdy for the weight of the knife in it), you might want to shop elsewhere or make a special request that they pay very close attention to packing your items.

They are my #1 choice. Ive been dealing with Roger for years.
