A little late to the party, but they were the very first place I bought a "nice" knife from online, and I still check their availability first before going elsewhere.
 
I try and buy all my new spydercos from Knifeworks. Great company to work with. Typically have the best prices.
 
Anyone know what's up with their ResellerRatings page? They get 2.64/10 with some real lousy stories. I hear good stuff on bladeforums but these stories make me nervous to drop any real cash here. Some of my other knife places get fine ratings. Can anyone make me less nervous? I love some of their exclusives. Thanks!

and that is the problem with rating places, anyone can rate however they want whether it's truthful or no where near. in this case i'd bet not that truthful if at all. i see lots of they didn't get exactly what they wanted and here comes the negative review.....this is the new thing in America. if a company doesn't bend over further than fair and good customer service demands....they go online and 1 star it to death all over the place and whine about how horrible the company is, and at the same time get a weird revenge....at least in their own minds.

also just like yelp if you pay them for advertising they tend to wash away your bad reviews whether truthful or not. if you don't pay...not so much. one can argue that i'm wrong, but i've seen it firsthand........i doubt this place is much different.

I've spent many thousands of dollars in many many order over many years and even a few current orders at knifeworks. i have never had an issue that they didn't take care of instantly....that said i only had 2 issues and one of them was my fault....and they still helped me even though they didn't really have to. the other was so minor it didn't even matter and they still went way above to make me happy. that says a lot.

don't put much trust in online reviews. in my line of business some customers/folks are using it as blackmail...either give me what i want or else......i'll go online and crucify you everywhere. 9.9 times out of 10 what they want is completely unreasonable and the same as saying give me free stuff or else. this is nothing that new, i used to see it before the internet on i'll tell everyone in my church and in my neighborhood that you are bad if you don't give me free stuff even though i didn't pay for it or deserve it. now they have facebook, instagram, and the internet and review sites galore to black mail with. ironically truly wronged customers with real issues, typically demand fair settlements and are easy to work with. fake wronged customers are freeloaders and try to squeeze whatever they can for free right or wrong they don't care. if you don't play their games they attack you on the internet.

there is a fraud in america that..... "the customer is always right." the real saying should be "the honest and fair customer is always right." there are still lots of them, but plenty of dishonest and weasels that pretend to be customers.

Whatever their ratings, they are one of the good guys.

I am an ex employee of knife works as of today!
I can now let the truth be known
When you order a knife you may not be getting a “NEW” knife! When someone returns a knife they go back on the shelf and sent out to the next person. When you return a knife for a refund because the knife is off centered, rusted, used, etc it may take up to a month to get your refund Because the owners will not let your refund be processed because they have so many returns it’s unbelievable so they process a few a week!
The owner is very rude to customers and doesn’t care even though customers is what keeps him in business!
Bench made knives are not supposed to be shipped out of the country but they found a loophole. Automatic knives are not supposed to be shipped through USPS only UPS or Fed ex but they have been doing it
This is all FACTS not opinions as I personally was told to do it to save him money

People if you don’t want to wait on your refund (they deduct shipping as well), or want a better chance of purchasing new shop elsewhere
He will not hire men (discrimination)
Wow I’m not from this town and most people are ok but the worst mistake I could’ve made was to go to work there !

When you constantly questioning the RETURNS/REFUND person about emails on customers refunds and they don’t like it and you eventually tell them about themselves then yeah the owner takes his pick hmmmm
Also women can be back stabbing
They run their mouths about her then turn the tables
But this is about Knifeworks and how they do people
This is actually a blessing to me

I will do what I have to do
I have more calls to make and things to do

Wow, as a looooong time repeat customer, I can say that my experience has been the EXACT OPPOSITE of pretty much everything you're claiming here.

I can form an opinion here as to why you may have been fired.

I have had a years-long relationship with Knifeworks and all has been outstanding on my end.

Same here. Knifeworks is one of my primary sources for knives. Always had great experiences with them.

I've never returned a knife to them, so can't speak from direct experience. However, the language in their returns policy makes it quite clear they don't want to deal with returns - a very large part of the reason they're not one of my go-to shops.

Automatic knives are not supposed to be shipped through USPS only UPS or Fed ex but they have been doing it

...every other online knife store ships automatics through USPS, too :)

This is a ex employee of Knifeworks that has been terminated this morning. She is putting false information in regards to Knifeworks for slander. Please disregard!
