Knives and Boots

These were Dad’s boots, and this is the first knife I made him, long before I had a clue, from a kit blank that ripped off Bill Siegle’s design. I didn’t know that at the time!

This thread is right up my alley. I only wear boots pretty much. I'd recommend these two brands. Whites Boots (the two full sized pair), and Carolina (the low top). Loggers are steel toe, the strapped pair aren't, and the low tops are composite toe. All three are super solid. A good runner up but not pictured (on my feet) are Redbacks slip ons.. those things are comfy. To accompany them are a CPK HDFK, CPK Behemoth, a CKF Eagle Rock (red), and a J.E. Made Lanny's Clip. All very good knives and highly recommended for all manner of uses. Oh and a S&W M&P M2.0 Metal for good measure.

Nice Danner Canadians......👌👌👌......Great boots.......Old style too with the black liner.......My first pair was like that. Bought in 88....In 96 I was hiking Avalanche Peak in Yellowstone and a rock sliced right thru the sole...
Danner's replaced free.....👍👍👍.......New style thought with h the brown lining............... Their USA made stuff is solid...

I only wear the Canadians when it’s super cold out, and it don’t get that cold very often in Kentucky. Got these a few decades ago.

I briefly looked at Whites site. They look good. If I ever wear out my Zamberlans...
Takes about 8 years a pair if worn exclusively 100% of the time all day everyday. So I have a decade lol but I will look at those. I love the Zamberlan boots I got because they are as waterproof as waders it would take weeks to get water in them standing in a stream. It's truly unbelievable.

Lucchese Classics Lizard; Harvey Dean boot
Best regards and God bless
Years ago I had a pair of Nocona Lizard skins. Several years later, with a lot of wearing and they were as stiff as the day I bought them. They refused to break in. Looks like yours have broken in.
