Just touching up this blade on a ceramic slab while I drink my morning brew.

Finally got an OP Zaan! A great morning, paired with good coffee and a newer Zaan.
There are some subtle differences...this particular OP Umnumzaan has no LBS and the jimping is different as well. Very nice blade. Carrying alongside the REK Ember today, after I give the OP Zaan a good cleanin’!

I'm usually hesitant when knife companies start marketing other things like coffee, but Spartan Blades has some pretty good coffee here, even if it is a little lighter of a roast than I prefer.

Tried some hot coffee this morning before work. Didn’t make it very far on it and brought it to work. Still didn’t get very far on it. Got home and poured some cold brew. I must be getting better at it, wife decided she’d give it a try.
