DW2 Envy is very similar to the 1st one but it has a hollow/compound grind drop point blade, so its a bit thinner behind the edge for better slicing.

Thank you for your interest
This knife is indeed of Japanese inspiration, I asked Julien Maria (cutler from the south east of France http://www.couteliermaria.com/index.html ) to make me a higo bigger than the traditional one and with a wooden handle.
Oak handle, 10 cm blade in XC75 steel.
I also have a small higo with a burr elm handle, 7.5cm XC75 steel blade.
