Happy Saturday. I am enjoying this mornings coffee with the Monterey Bay Knives Slayback. It has a double detent so it doesn’t lock.
I am mindful of that when I slice the rubber band on my morning paper.
I saw another thread about factory edges. This knife had a pretty good edge but it had a tiny chip. I used it for awhile and then put a new profile
on it. I was pretty aggressive as I figured the blade edge was overheated when it was first sharpened on a grinder. I put a bit of a polish on it too. I am a novice with this hobby and this site is invaluable in my knife education so thanks.
