Knives and Coffee

how does this Ecuadorian coffee taste? Strong roast or medium roast? First time I have seen it. The knife is cool too. :) Checked out their site, looks good.

Thanks!

I'd call it "medium". Forgive me if I didn't mention it but I'm also talking about this in the "coffee" thread in the community forum. The honey process stuff has a curious vegetal characteristic with a little bit of tang. Some has been better than others. I didn't save the bag for this one but thinking about the "honey or washed" that it said, I'm wondering if they don't use stock bags for a few different things. Looking at their website, it gives you a choice of farmer and some other things.

I wasn't the one who ordered all of the new coffees for this week so there have been some fun surprises. I've been spending some time with extended family. One of my cousins put together a sampler of honey process beans from different companies to try. So we've been french-pressing when together each day. Otherwise, I've also been drinking some Davidoff instant. I'm sure I'll get another pic up later.

This is definitely my favorite of the honey coffees so far. The brightness of the light roast blended into and tweaked the tang that had been unpleasant in the other red honey beans. It worked better with the vegetal note too. This was actually interesting to drink.

I also noticed the caffeine here, which is a fairly rare occurrence in my regular daily consumption.
