  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Knives and Coffee

Here’s a bald headed jack with a sheepsfoot blade. I’m drinking Peet’s Holiday blend…already…it’s supposedly full of holiday spirit. Tastes pretty good.

My sisters freak out if I so much as breath anything that remotely sounds like a holiday tune anytime before Thanksgiving and yet here you are shamelessly drinking the holiday blend... I wish I had the courage you have.

My eyes bulged at that crazy looking knife when in the back of my mind a voice said "Spyderco has something called the 'Persian.'" Is it a Persian or Persian-derivative? Either way, that's quite the balancing act, especially the way the angle of the handle and blade are accentuated by said balancing act. Reminds me of Count Dooku from Star Wars prequels with his curved "fencing" lightsaber.

I currently reside just outside of Seattle, have two kids that work at Starbucks and get free coffee, and I still order my beans from my favorite roaster/shop in my little home town back in Florida...NSB4LIFE!

Just in today.

I totally understand the something other than Starbucks, except if I brew it. As a last resort in an airport or on a flight but otherwise only if I brew it. Please enlighten me on the Island Roasters brand. I am always looking for another roast and brand. Thanks
Very warm and relaxing looking setting
