I'm getting better and faster at making a cappuccino. The one I made after this one was probably the best I've ever made. The manual grinder I bought works well, but might be replaced with an automatic doser style in the future.
I did buy a scale that times and weighs a shot pull, but I haven't even tinkered with that yet. I'm pretty happy with the results so far.
My son enjoys helping me make espresso. The grinding and the puck prep is his favorite part. Way too young for coffee yet, but he enjoys the smell. I steam the milk for safety reasons. He did about 95 percent of the work to make this one. I only directed and helped a little.
