Glad to hear! :thumbup: While they're a little bit more expensive, I really like Sweet Maria's. Tom goes out of his way to bring GREAT beans to us little home roasters, and really pours his heart and soul into his business. His reviews are thorough, and spot on. I met him at the shop one time while I was there to pick up an order, and after he spent over an hour chatting with me and getting me caffeinated, I rarely buy green anywhere else.

That's exactly what you want. My local seller is like that also. They usually have about 12 choices of green beans on hand, they offer weekly seminars and roasting classes, and are truly passionate about coffee.

I'll have to give Sweet Maria's a look. I enjoy trying new stuff.
 
BJAMIN8341, Did you add jimping to the spine of your Valet?
I did, not perfect but works well.

I also did a little lathe type work (with a drill) on the thumb studs. Just cut an extra groove so that it bites a little as it seemed too slick to me.
