I’m so sorry to hear about your pup. I had to put my 15 year old Jack Russell named jack to sleep around this time last year. One of the absolute hardest things I’ve ever had to do in my life. I cried for a week before he passed because I knew it was time and cried for two weeks after. I couldn’t handle my wife and I being sad every day so I had to go get my boy Tucker then a few months later his sister Luna. They can never and will never be replaced or forgotten but man needs a best friend. I’ve always had a dog or two my whole life and plan on it till I’m done on this rock. **Edited to add*** I’m pretty much the rough around the edges kinda guy and it takes a whole lot to break me and even more to make me cry. My dogs are almost like my kids. Naturally my kids mean more to me than anything, but I honestly believe I would take a bullet for my dogs as well. I love em that much. Thank you for the thoughtful reply. I’ve also had a dog with me for my entire life. My folks always had dogs, and I’ve had three of my own for their full lives. 30 years or so. I miss having one with me, but my wife passed away a couple of years ago and it’s just me now. My work requires a fair amount of travel, so, at least until I retire, I’m on a pet break. I do miss it 😢

Condolences. Few things hit as hard as losing a pup. This is the best thread around. Keep the post coming.
