It looks like a fanmustard plant.

The desert is pretty amazing after it gets a little rain. All those plants, that you thought were dead, suddenly come to life.

One of the most amazing, is the Ocotillo plant. Most of the year, it looks like it's petrified. Add some rain, now it's green with bright reddish orange flowers.

There are also spots out west where one needs to be careful of burrs in a dogs paws as well. Red Rock Canyon (Vegas) is a good example.

CRK Pro Soldier again. Knife was safely pointed away, then she moved. She cares not, enjoys playing in the creek and treeing squirrels. Also flushed some whitetails.

Thank you, she is a great dog. I enjoy all the pups and knives in this thread.

Knife content: I usually take that CRK Pro Soldier into the woods with me, but not using it a lot (can tell since it is in such good condition). Over two months backpacking out west some years back, all I actually needed and used the most was an Alox Farmer.
