Knives And Dogs!

I had a loose grip on the leash when my hound dog decided to take off after a rabbit, ended up with a sprained finger for well over a month. Lesson learned, I am less casual about the leash now, wrap it around my wrist more often (hopefully no sprained wrist next).

Yep. Those rabbits are good at holding still, puppers nose finds them every time though.. The pups instinct to chase can pull you off your feet.

Wrist wrapped and a harness are my default precautions 😂

I have two goldens (one 2 1/2 yrs, one 8 mths), and they’ll either rip the leashes right out of your hands if you’re lucky, or tie your fingers in knots if you’re not. They see things long before we notice them, and they’re off and running before you have a clue. Next thing you know, you’re picking what’s left of your fingers up off the ground. One alone is bad enough, but you need eyes in the back of your head with both of em. I love them to death, but I really need to do better at teaching them some manners. 🤣
