  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Knives and Drinks!

Some homemade Long Islands, Squirrel Whisky shots, straight DEW, and some Tullamore and Coke. Probably time to put the sharp objects away.

I’m just getting into scotch, the ones I’ve have so far have been pretty middle of the road.
But this was PEATY! and smoky to me. I liked it but it was definitely a change from what I’m used to.

A light midday snack. Hard boiled eggs and diced semi-ripe cheese with a bottle of delicate, dry and light red wine. The snacks are gone, there is still some wine. The knife is by Dalibor Seckar from Croatia (Daado on BF's Knife Makers' Market) and one of my favorite EDC :

Well..I think I’m done with peaty scotch, just not my thing.
This tasted like gasoline was filtered through charcoal made from burning a diaper worn by a goat that had been eating a steady diet of spearmint leaves and old tires.
