Knives and Drinks!

Paddy's is decent for what it is and very hard to beat for the price. For instance, the entry-level Powers costs about 50% more and isn't much better. While that makes it a great value, it also tends to lock me in on a cheap Irish. At the end of the day, I almost always end up skipping it for scotch or bourbon. My budget standards there, Monkey Shoulder and Buffalo Trace, are just more complex and ultimately more fulfilling.

So I've been making a conscious effort to get through this bottle and break the trend. Thankfully, a caring friend stepped in to help me finish it earlier this evening. :)

Since I don't mix my Irish and don't drink it all that often, I'm going to step up to a single pot still default.

Red Bull. Called Jager bombs.

Thanks. I wasn't sure. I've seen that term used almost as loosely as "martini".

I tried one of those like twenty years ago. It was interesting, to say the least. Coincidentally, it was probably the last time I had an "energy drink" besides coffee. 😜
