Here's my original issue Gerber from when I got to my first unit in 2007. It has spent time in Iraq and Afghanistan and is scheduled for some time in Africa next year! I haven't used the blade that much, but the pliers have come in handy countless times! The whiskey speaks for itself

BTW King Charles's favorite scotch.

And mods forgive me, all off topic - the smokey flavor comes from peat. I stayed in a rented cottage twice in west Ireland in the early 70s. We burned peat in the fireplace provided by the farmer who owned the cottage on lough Corrib. The flavor very apparent in this scotch.
