Not really, but I am definitely compressing the O-ring a bit.Do you find that you have to really turn the front barrel all the way, pretty hard, to get full brightness?

That brought back some instant memories. My dad had that flashlight. Always kept it near the fireplace to go get wood outside.
Dave, I don't know anything about that i3T model (or most flashlights TBH), but I sure do like my i3E.The i3T is still a favorite. Tons of light and value for a AAA light.
