I feel the same way. I'm told the longer you use it, the flickering lessens, but I haven't seen that happen yet. Other than that, the quality is first rate, and very bright.

I really love mine, but I bought the pocket model when I should have gotten the " keychain lug " body because there really are no good snap on pocket clips available that fit it and having that built in lanyard lug would be great.

My new Peak Eiger came in the mail today, and this new one functions as it should.

I really missed having the dimmest output on my 1st one, because it's great for checking doen bores and air tubes...etc on my airguns if I have any kind of problem.

How do you like the pressure switch on the back ?
Can you still turn the head or do you only get momentary operation ?

I recently ordered the " lug " body with medium sized head, but what I received was the keychain body with regular small sized head.
I didn't save the email with my order number, and can't print out a return label so I'm stuck with it.
It's not the exact one I ordered, but it's still a good product.
It's already long enough, but I am kind of thinking I might like to try a pressure switch on it in the future.

I don't really care for the pressure switch, and may change it to use a lanyard instead. Sometimes it works well, and other times, not so much...

You'll probably like it that way better.

My new Eiger is actually functioning well which I'm happy about.

Do you find that you have to really turn the front barrel all the way, pretty hard, to get full brightness?
