Love that old school flashlight there, what can you tell me about it ?
I feel like I've seen one before. ( Here's your other pic )
It is a Ray O Vac. Had it for at least 35 to 40 years, all original except led bulb in it now. Takes two D size batteries magnet, keeps it stuck to reefer till the power goes out .
My picture inserting skills suck but I try.

I knew I'd seen one before, the good ol' rayovac.
I wish I still had my Eveready.

Now that my daughter is a Scout, she'll be going on excursions without Dear Old Dad. It's time she get her own flashlight. I found this SureFire G2L at a smokin' price. Though not the brightest or longest running, it is a dead reliable torch.

The yellow was fortuitous. She took one look at it and said, "Daddy, can I have that gold flashlight?!" Lol...

The E2D is also hers, come upon inadvertently as I was shopping for the yellow. My little girl is slowly (not slow enough truth be told) growing into a beautiful young woman. In a few years I'm going to get her into the habit of carrying the E2D, for the express purpose of dissuading handsy young men.
