also shown next to it is a mellon knife. Once the edge bevels are made way, way shallower it is quite effective. Stock it is nearly useless.

Sorry I don't have any photos, I just wanted to say I think this is a cool idea. I'll try to post a couple tomorrow.

Here's one of a few chanterelles I found and prepared for dinner later that evening.

Just for fun (and pictures) I wanted to test this little knife for cooking up a stew. It worked surprisingly well (and the pictures turned out rather nice).

I can't use thick blades for food prep. Wrong tool for the job. It's amazing to have a nakiri thin enough it seems to fall through the food rather than needing to be pushed.

All Masakage knives.

I don't use my good knives on ceramic plates. Cutting boards sure- The Spyderco Military is an awesome slicer.

From top to bottom: Fujitake chef's knife, Jantz Supply chef's knife with c-tek handle by Knockwood Blades, a cleaver/chopper made by Mark from Ekwipunek Dzwigany Codziennie in Toruń, Poland, and a L'econome paring knife. All on top of a giant wooden cutting board from Ikea that was only $17.

Iv seen that Carothers in another one of your post not too long ago. Looks like an awesome kitchen knife. Be lying if I said you didn't add it to my list of knives to watch out for :D

It was given to me by Nathan in a GAW, I love this knife, typical of his knifes it is scalpel sharp and the D2 holds up great. :) I don't think he makes these anymore but you never know, throw enough money at him and anything might be possible. :)
