As far as guns, Im currently saving up for a Springfield M1A scout squad, AND IM ALMOST THERE!!!!

That gun isnt cheap.

Id also like to score another 10/22, to make a tackdriver, and a silenced .22 handgun of some sort.


Oh...and lots and lots of ammo. .308 and 9mm mostly. Im set on most other calibers.

Yeah, Ive wanted one FOREVER.

An AR aint got shit on that. I love ARs, but Im all about multi purpose, and the M1A is a versitle weapon. In the Scout length, it just makes it that much cooler.

In 2010 I want to convince a knife company to make a production line of EDC fixed blades marketed specifically for folks who must carry a knife with a blade length of less then 2.5 inches in order to satisfy Security Personnel. My design would be as follows:

Overall length of 6 inches.

Blade length of 2.25 inches -- multiple styles drop point / wharncliffe etc.

1/8" thick and 1" wide.

Non-threatening handle slabs in blaze orange or highlighter yellow.

On both sides of the blade in big text it will say "2.25 Inches Long" so that when I show it to Security Personnel they don't freak out.

Pocket style sheath of leather or kydex.

I couldn't wait for 2010 so I just ordered a custom Jensen pack from Rivendell mountain works.
Next up is to order a bunch of Supplex and make up some Columbia style fishing shirts with extra pockets for all of the crap I carry..
The seamstress gal in town charges just under $7 to make me my shirts.A yard of Supplex is around $12.
For $20 I get a shirt that would cost $60 up there. 5 for a bit under $100

I have her working on a " Duluth Bushcrafter pack" modified to my specs for the wifey.
3 yards of 1050 and her labor.$100 total

This is a good idea, I have taken a small thermos lid along with me for my pups. When my old dog starts nipping at my water bottle, its time for a rest.

In 2010 I would like to fine tune my disaster preparedness supplies, especially as it relates to food.

I have so dang many toys now there there are few that I really want. It would not hurt for me to grab a Busse or three. I live 30m from Knob Creek, so that thats an easy one for me in April.

Another pistol would not hurt too much either. Maybe a Les Baer if I really went off the deep end, or maybe another 1911 or a Ruger wheelgun. Yeah, thats good stuff.

I'm pretty well saturated with consumer goods, so I don't anticipate too much spending unless I go high end with the Busses or Baers.
