I have a custom fixed blade that I got as a gift around 20 years ago. I was told not to use it. I have not. It's made by a maker from Oregon named R.G. Shaye. His initials are on the blade. I'm wanting to trade for a Civivi Altus style with a similar length of blade. The value is around $275. The handle is supposedly mastodon bone. Let me know. John....Redding, Ca

I'm interested in your R.G. Shaye fixed blade knife with leather sheath. Okay, I rounded up four Civivi knives that meet your specifications. All the knives are in excellent condition. All the knives have boxes and pouches except the Elementum, I can only provide a pouch. Here are the knives by name and specifications:

Civivi Altus with Damascus Blade and Green Handle
Civivi McKenna with Copper Handles and Damascus Blade
Civivi Elementum with Gray Handles
Civivi Pintail with Brown Handles

I got two of the Civivis from Gary W. Graley, a frequent trader here on Blade Forums. As he says:

"Civivi Altus button lock with green micarta scales and damascus blade. I've added a nice beaded lanyard on it and also I put on a fresh mirror polished edge bevels, this is screaming sharp."​

"The Civivi Pintail comes with a nice custom lanyard and decorative Crusaders Cross bead. It has exceedingly sharp edge."

I'll trade these four Civivis for your Shaye knife. Please let me know if you are interested. If you need, I can take pictures, but the four links I provided show the knives as they appear.
