What are you looking forward to for next year?

For me, a must have will be an Emerson Kwaiken...assuming it's released.

After that, I'm interested in a Fiddleback Forge Recluse, Busse Hellrazor, Swamp Rat RMD, Condor duku mini parang and I'm curious about their Mainz Gladius.

Add: the Osprey Raptor looks appealing too...would also like to get another quality tomahawk...like a Jenny Wren or Winkler.

Giant Mouse GM2. And hopefully a frame lock version of the Lionsteel Kur.

Hoping to snag a ZT 0392WC.

I also plan on getting the XM-18 Harpoon Spanto. I will not be denied.

Waiting for shot show to make up my mind on something from ZT... but at the moment the only blade
I have on my list is an Emerson horseman

I'm looking forward to these two offerings from Spyderco:

I'll also be continuing looking for awesome, lesser known custom makers who are doing stuff at reasonable prices, as well as vintage knives.

The Spyderco Police 4 is a must, as is the White River Sendero Classic, the Chinook 4 is almost certain and the ATR 2 and S90V Buck Marksman are possible candidates. Beyond that I'm still waiting to see what all else everyone is releasing in 2017 before I start allocating and money.

I'm going to try a new thing for me, I am not going to buy any knives for 2017..
That's gonna be a first in many years if I can pull it off..

Mikkel Willumsen is going to be working with WE Knives in 2017... i dont know what designs are to come but its going to be very interesting. same with the rest of WE Knives and VDK (Vlad's line of we knives).

ive really only seen Spyderco's 2017 catalog to know what to expect, but i dont see anything striking that i want, maybe some sprint runs, but thats about it from them.

hopefully ZT comes out with some rad designs like they did the 801brz.

hopefully benchmade dropping all there brands, that they will now focus on quality. they are currently "dont buy sight unseen" where you pay ALOT for so little and poor quality.

For sure:
- Spyderco Jumpmaster 2
- Spyderco fish hunter

Most likely
- Cold Steel Frenzy
- Spyderco Manbug H1
- Spyderco Spydiechef

Who knows
- Spyderco Snap-It Salt

I'm going to try and purchase only a couple, highly discerned knives in 2017. I bought a lot of knives in 2016, and spent a lot of money, but looking back I only love a couple. I'd rather skip 5-$200 knives and carefully pick 1-$1000 knife.

That being said, there are a couple of production knives on my radar...Para3 and Advocate, Kize Guru, probably something from WE and a semi-custom Olamic 247 that I'm already putting together in my head

Some nice knives being mentioned.

Forgot about a spydie that's on my radar- the Euroedge. Has a unique look to it!

My "looking forward" knife is a used Mnandi. My house is up for sale right now so I had to change plans and the budget for toys went out the door. Lol.

It's ok though, sometimes the thinking about something is more fun than the actual getting. I have a couple of slippies that will get me by until then.

AVigil CPM 3V "Randall 14"

Was looking at the Spyderco Police 4 but it's K390, and basically the same knife as the Police 3 I have and mine's the serrated so probably skip it. Only thing I'm really looking at now is maybe a Reate Torrent and definitely a CPK Field Knife. Missed out on the pre-order list that just shipped, really regretted that as soon as I saw it in person and saw the "stress" tests Nathan did.

Just bought a Northwoods Esky Zulu on the exchange.

Just FYI, the advocate is available now.
