Is there regulations on what sheaths can be carried by our military ? I was told once that only certain ones are allowed , but I do not know for sure .
That is unit sop but as a general rule no. Of in an airborne unit however you most certainly want a hard sided sheath with at least two forms of retention. On a drop leg holster. At least that was our guidence.
