I think I will go with a PSA, possible the 18" in 6.5 Grendel, just to switch it up.

I’m like 95% done on a Grendel build, but with a 12” barrel and a focus on keep it light. My next item for it is a titanium can and lpvo.

So probably going to pick up a "somewhat" entry level AR next weekend, and I'm looking for suggestions. I'm a lefty, but since I have an IWI Tavor Sar in lefty config already, I'm debating whether I should get a Stag Arms 15 lefty or just get a righty AR with ambi controls, to make it easier for my righty family to use.

I'm looking to spend ~$1000.

Ain’t nothing wrong with a PSA. They are one of the best values you can get in an AR. I built one for myself and built one for my wife and they both shoot lights out! Plus, PSA has done so much in the name of our 2A. They’re about to start kicking out ammunition too.

You can buy ARs for under $500 today Bernie. With a $1000, you can build a nice mid tier one.

I go thru phases and use them awhile and remove them again…depends on the gun really.

I’ve never used them on any of my guns. I’ve used them on other people’s firearms. always been decent with irons and sight acquisition is pretty fast. Still want to give optics a try.
