That sir, I believe is a S&W model 27. Probably a -2 or earlier. Amazing firearm in .357 magnum flavor.

Good eye! It is a .45ACP N frame, model 25-14. Classic lines and styling, but a modern revolver.

.45 revolvers are just plain COOL! Whether they're .45 Colt or .45 ACP. And those are some FINE specimens. Especially that last one. Old-style action, with the hammer-mounted firing pin. The frame-mounted may be more robust, may be safer(?), but I just like the old way with S&W.
