Coyotes are actually very beneficial to local ecosystems. As predators, they do a fantastic job of managing the populations of other species we often consider pests like skunks, raccoons, and opossums. If you don't have livestock or small outdoor pets, the coyotes will be more valuable to you alive.Saw two coyotes out during the day, not normal for my property…. Time to hunt!

No scope or red dot…You must be one of those Ninja peopleSaw two coyotes out during the day, not normal for my property…. Time to hunt!View attachment 2059599
If they are acting strange and coming near humans, they are sick or starving bc they are normally deathly afraid of Us…at least in my experienceDuly noted, but my personal ecosystem has small children and small dogs. They are massively overpopulated and also showing strange daytime behavior.
Ha! 50 yards is my absolute limit for a clean kill, usually it wears a Vortex Sparc to get me out a little further, but I’ve been re-allocating that to my Ruger, but since it’s such a PITA to clean (takedown), I only use my suppressor on my Keltec, which is waiting on a Crimson Trace 2.5-8x handgun scope. Until then, I’ll practice with irons. No scope or red dot…You must be one of those Ninja people![]()
Oh my bad…You use a Hush Puppy Can and a x8 handgun scope…I thought we were talking about shooting coyotesHa! I used to use a 22-250 Weatherby and catch them going across dried up lake beds and sand flats…maybe a bit further than 50ydsHa! The mustang is super light and pretty quiet can, also the price isn’t terrible. It’s a .22lr, any quality suppressor will drop the sound signature, I liked the mustang because of ease of maintainance. How do you like that Rugged can?
