Lil different deal. Built this knife and sheath and the new owner asked me to build a matching holster for his Staccato. It is REALLY weird that I open this thread to post the pics and the post immediately above is Staccatos!

Wow!! And did I mention WOW! I'm shooting a 255 grain semi-wadcutter in my 45Colt. What is the recoil like?

700 grains is pretty brisk. I have shot the 500 (and the 460) enough not to be surprised by the recoil. The X-Frame revolvers are so heavy it isn't bad, you move but nothing like an air-weight 357 or the lightweight 44 mags.

Thanks. I appreciate your answer. My Ruger Blackhawk has less recoil than my J-Frame.
