No, that's one of the colors they offer
I have not seen that one before. FDE and gray but not bronze.
What holster do you use? The only one I could locate for mine was a blade tech. I really do not care for their design.
Thanks

This is the FDE, so if it looks different it could be the lighting. But since I have the Surefire X300 on it, I'm using a universal holster that works with most guns as long as they have that specific light on it. It's the PHLster Floodlight

Alone Alone What are your thoughts on the Taurus build quality? Seen some reports on their big bore revolvers being very well made lately.

Before I answer your question, I want to give a disclaimer. I don't have a lot of time with this piece. I usually like to have a LOT of time with something so that I feel confident in my opinion. So, please take this with a grain of salt.

That being posted, my initial impressions are that most things about this revolver are "good". Not "great", not "fair", but "good". For reference, and for the most part, I'm a Ruger revolver guy. With that, and even with my limited time with this little revolver, I'm very happy with it. The first time I saw one was during a YouTube vid, but musta' caught Taurus in a lull as I waited quite a bit of time for this particular model to become available again. My gut is telling me that I'm going to probably fall in love with it and wind-up getting a second.

On a second note, there's a Gun'tuber who comes-up in my feed. He goes by the handle, "Honest Outlaw", if I remember correctly. He seems to be very good at what he does and has a helluva' following. Anyhow, he recently did a "best of" or "must own" type of vid, and I was shocked to see that he gave high accolades to a huge Taurus .44 Magnum revolver. If I'm not mistaken, he said that he enjoyed shooting it more than his Colt Anaconda. Pretty high praise, if you ask me, especially considering how many firearms he's shot.

Just my humble opinion(s). Happy huntin'.

Yes “Honest Outlaw” is one of my main YouTube reviewers I watch and I also saw that one he did on the .44. I’ve seen a few others saying the big bores are being made pretty well now. We all know Taurus has had its problems over the years but maybe they’re changing.

With the prices of everything getting so ridiculous it would be nice to see this.

I’m also a Smith and Ruger guy and have a whole slew of revolvers, but if Taurus is starting to put out some affordable and decently made revolvers I’ll for sure give them another try.

Thanks for review.

Andy, I felt compelled to add...

When I spoke of "good", I was talkin' about the double-action/single-action trigger and cylinder latch. (*both of which I will assume will smooth-out over time & with usage)

When it comes to the actual satin "finish", that piece is outstanding.

For me, it's very aesthetically appealing.
