Found it on the River. Great that it is still a family owned business. Might try it on a Banana Republic leather belt I have worn a lot since I bought it about 25 years ago that is still supple and very sound but somewhat dry and aged on the surface with some cracking in the area of the two most used holes. Been a great belt, really good for wearing pistol or knife - wish I had bought a few moreThanks. Actually, I’m not using conventional bees wax, just called it like this for simplicity. This is what I’m using (bought from Amazon):

You apply it and it soaks in. Then, I let it dry over night and wipe/polish with a rag. Doesn’t get really shiny. I can recommend it.

Just curious, anything on the bottle to say what it is made of? Photos on the River only show the front of the bottle.

They make it difficult to tell .... here is the backside of the bottle:

When you check on your website, it goes: "Leather Honey is an age-old family invention and the specific formulas of our products are proprietary", and they also state that there are no animal products in it, including bee honey or wax.
When you drill down a bit, you find this in a PDF file:

Roland.
Somebody was selling off a number of vintage holsters on ebay. I managed to snag this El Paso Saddlery 4" N-Frame one for a good price. A little bit of bees wax and it's almost like new. Carries very comfortably:

Also interesting to see how others (Triple K, for instance) have copied that pattern.
Yup, that idiot scratch was from me.

Who made the sheath?
Great find. The old El Paso work was really good.
Is that an Ed Brown?
I wish it was. It is a Fusion 6". I do not see these out in the wild much, but I think it is a pretty nice mid-level 1911. They sell pre-configured models but you are able to specify mods to be added in during the build to make it more of a personalized configuration. I think this is a great idea to offer some customization to a customer during build cycle as opposed to buying a spec gun and then to send it out for customization after you buy it.
Reminds me of the old days when you could have Colt custom shop or Springfield Armory custom shop, grab the gun from the production line and add mods before they send your new 1911 to you. Those days are long gone. Pretty much the start-up business model for Alchemy Custom Weaponry if I am not mistaken.
Damn, now I have an overwhelming urge to go out and get in trouble by getting "another stupid new gun"![]()
