The knife is one I assembled many years ago when I wanted a nice hunting and skinning knife, I got the blade and hardware in the 90s from a local supply house, Koval Knives. They were bought by Jantz in the early 2000s. The pattern Damascus blade blank was supposedly made locally by someone of note, They acted like I should know about him when they mentioned his name. The wood is bloodwood and maple. I found a sheath in a box and a gun show for a few bucks and it has been my main hunting companion ever since.
