My new deer/hog blaster. 12.5” .308
I wanted mid range 100-400 yd that is light and easy to pack.

So far getting about 1.5MOA with lightweight bullets , 150-155’s ,
Heavier 168-178 doesn’t seem to stabilize as well - 2.5-4”

If you are reloading push the COAL and get closer to the lands. Always have found my 308 do better a bit longer, seems to tighten up those groups for me.

Good tip, friend told me the same. I am not a reloader but would love to get into it one day.

I passed up several Security sixes over there years until it dawned on me that they aren't really sought after and the prices are amazing, so i have at least a half DOZEN in various configurations. When I see one, it comes home with me.
 
Going to the range today, mom wants to go with so I'll pick her up on the way. She wants to get her own pistol for her bedroom. So she's going to try a couple of mine again. Plus, she wants a refresher on loading mags, and other basic functions.

What I'm bringing:

Canik TP9 SFX Whiteout 9mm
Sig P365X SAS 9mm
Kimber Rapide .45acp
Sig M400 Tread Snakebite edition 5.56
Tavor SAR 5.56

I will take some pics with a knife and targets.

I have the renewal class tonight. Five years ago when I renewed it was simply agreeing you had shot for an hour within the last six months. Now it is a three hour class covering law changes and one hour range time.
I don't look at the classroom time as a bad thing. I wanted to sit through a class anyway to get the changes.
